Kristen Wolbrink ARLT 101g 10/25/05 Journal 7 Analysis of the male protagonist in the film Hook Hook was a film from 1991 that played off the idea of the Disney movie, Peter Pan . The male protagonist is Peter Pan played by Robin Williams and is actually Peter Pan grow up at the age of forty who goes back to Neverland after Captain Hook kidnaps his two children. Peter is a character with confidence and bravery who must fight Captain Hook. The movie contains a lot of action as peter must learn how to fight and fly from the Lost Boys. Peter is respected by the Lost Boys and can be related as the “King” of the Lost Boys as he becomes the leader and leads them into battle. A sense of the chivalric code is shown in Peter when he decides not to kill Captain Hook even though he is his enemy. He realizes that it is not the right thing to do and that he must act in the way of a hero and not take on the characteristics of the enemy. He must realize the balance between good and evil and hold back his emotions of anger towards Captain Hook. Peter also
