Why is it necessary to consult relevant groups and individuals on work to be allocated and about the resources they will need? 150–200 words - Consultative processes will enable managers and frontline managers to identify the individuals and groups who have the skills and knowledge needed to complete work to the necessary standards. In particularly, an employee consultation can assist managers to identify the learning requirement and possible gaps. Learning requires a change in skills, thinking and also attitude and by consulting with the employee they understand why these learning needs are required and the business expectations of them, It also enable the business to identify the best method of training especially if an employee is resistant. If an employee is consulted they are more likely to be enthused and dedicated to the training - Moreover, it also help to figure out the resources that the various groups and individuals in the organization will require so they can do their work. It is essential when allocating resources to have a clear understanding of the organization’s vision and goals and of the needs, wants and expectations of the customers for whom the organization provides its products and services. For example, consultation with customers to determine their needs and expectations might take the form of face-to-face questioning at the time that a product and service provided, client feedback surveys and compilations of customer to determine what is selling well and why it is selling well 2. When allocating work it is necessary to check that there are sufficient resources available. In generaland generic terms, what resources might be required in a business organization? Give 10 examples. - Resources can be called upon to cater to a need and are essential for operations. Resources are including available source of wealth, new or reserve supplies that can be drawn upon at need and sources of aid or support - Examples of resources might be required in a business organization [1] Human resources [2] Recruitment, selection and induction procedures [3] Data and information from internal and external sources
