Heath Boudreaux Experiment 6 The Coefficient of Friction Lab Partner Danielle Henry Abstract: The objective of this lab was to be able to measure the coefficients of both static and
kinetic friction between a wooden block and a wooden plane. The equipment that we used for this lab was a LABPRO with a force probe, an inclined plane, a wooden block, a triple beam balance, masses, and a pulley. We used the data that we found on the computer from using the LABPRO and put them into various equations to find static and kinetic friction, but also tension and the angle of repose. This lab came out to be wildly productive because the entire time we were getting back the results that we were hoping to see and everything came together to make it a successful lab.
