You can put synthetic oil in your car, but it won’t last long andit’s not as good as regular oil. Our bodies are no different; what you put in is what you get.Nobody expects a car to run without fuel and that requires a specific kind of fuel, one that wascreated to run on. Unlike those cars, our bodies require certain types of food as fuel, and it seemsthat more often than not we fill our bodies with the wrong foods. It is absurd to think that weexpect our bodies to function properly when we do not treat them properly. As our single sourceof energy and nutrition, the types of food we eat can greatly affect how our bodies function.The saying “you are what you eat”, isn’t as literal as I used to believe; for most of us wouldprefer the hamburger, large fry, and a milkshake over a larger cup of water and bowl of salad.Most Americans today tend to believe that, and yet what have many of us done to fix thisproblem? Go back and get some more, take some diet supplements, and have the same NewYear’s resolution every year. So how can we make the lifestyle change and eat healthy? Theanswer is practicing the same healthy choices including eating right and exercising with the goalof improving or maintaining good health. It sounds nice and easy, but in reality it is a massiveundertaking and requires careful planning and the mental strength to push away temptations.In the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle it is difficult to know what food is healthy andunhealthy for us. That is why the sea of diets and nutritional advice becomes so unforgiving,
