Kristen ScheibnerJournal: Evaluation of Personality AssessmentsBoth the MBTI and the Big Five Personality Test asked a lot of questions that pertainedto a person’s thoughts, feelings, and actions. They both instructed the test taker to answer thequestions honestly, even if they did not like the answers that were given to get a true assessmentof personality. After taking both tests and getting my results, I feel that the Big Five test resultswere easier to understand and were explained more thoroughly than the MBTI results. I also feelthat I agree more with the results of the Big Five test in every category except for one. Both thetests said that I am more extraverted than introverted, but the Big Five test said that I am 80%extraverted, which I think is a bit too high. I do consider myself to be a pretty outgoing andsocial person, but I think that I should be somewhere right in the middle of the two. The MBTItest scored me as 54% extraverted and I believe that this suits me better. I do agree more with the
