2 1. What You Need to Know: Learning About How Children at Different Ages Respond to Death When children are at the age of an infant and toddlers, they have no understanding of death. An infant is a baby that has been in the first years of birth. A toddler in the stages of walking. But, when someone in the family that passes that the children are close to they can notice that they are not there. They can get upset and cry. The children can show irritability, also they can change their eating habits. So, when the children are irritated they do not have to talk in order to communicate they can communicate by sounds, touch, and crying. Also, an infant can notice their mother by their voice or by their smell. So, the infant can notice when the mother is not around due to not being able to hear her voice or even smell her. A toddler can notice something wrong when they can notice the mother grieving. That will make
