TEAMS IN THE WORK PLACE3Teams in The Work PlaceWhen entering in the workforce, it being healthcare or any other type field, they are allhave teams. Some teams in the workplace are informal, but most are formal. When we look atteams in the workplace, you have to make sure that they are effective, and the team have thesame goals of the organization. The discussion in this paper will start on, what or how is a teamdeveloped. Team development is a key aspect to an organization, having teams within theorganization helps the organization allocated and assign different job function to fulfil theorganizations vision and mission. But, within every team is a leader, the leader of the teammakes sure the team is functioning and are all working towards the organizations common goal.The leader within the team is a very important part of the team, the leader must be able tomanage the team and see/ correct issues as they arise. As great as a team can be, a team can be orhave dysfunction within the team. Dysfunction within the team can hurt the team and hurt theorganization, as a leader it is important to resolve and strategies to take the dysfunction out theteam.First, let’s take a look at how to develop a team. The Balance states there are five stagesof developing a team. The first stage is forming, forming is getting a group of people toaccomplish the organizations’ vision/mission. The second stage is storming, the storming processis looking into the team and going over issues and resolutions that might/can occur within theteam. The third stage is norming, the norming stage is when the team starts working together and
