The questions are based only on the material covered since the second in-term: weeks 01 through 14 . Part One (50 points) will consist 25 short answer questions worth two points each. The questions are based on the readings and class discussions for weeks ten through fourteen . You can get one point for a partially correct answer. The study guide below contains some items not in the textbook but covered in class. His Marxist-Leninist theories, military strategies and political policies are collectively known as Marxism-Leninism-Maoism People Republic of China - The PRC is a single-party state governed by the Communist Party , with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing Syngman Rhee - was a Korean statesman and the first president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea as well as the first president of South Korea . Kim IL Sung - was the leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , commonly referred to as North Korea, from its establishment in 1948 until his death in 1994
