Kennedy delivered his speech on the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.very shortly after the assassination occurred on April 4, 1968. This was a very powerful speechused to inform the public about the death of Martin Luther King Jr. It was easy to detect thesomber tone right away and spoke in such a sincere manner.
