2 Domestic vs. International Terrorism Terrorism is not a new concept by any measurable means, the first forms of terrorism started during the first century of AD. The first form of terrorists took the form of Jewish individuals that had the intention of overthrowing the Roman empire in the middle east. The mind set these Jewish terrorists had was that the Jews as a whole should be ruled only under one God, and due to this an armed resistance was needed (Our World in Data, 2018). According to the same text, the Jews that believed in the single God rule, also targeted other Jews that did not share this same belief but shared the belief with the Romans. The Jews that believed in a single God armed themselves with daggers, concealed under regular clothing, and while staying intertwined with other Jews, they stabbed their enemies (Terrorism, 2018). Due to the Jewish terrorists attacking their same people, for simply having different beliefs, this can be classified as domestic terrorism. Since then, the definition of terrorism has overall stayed the same. Simply put, an unlawful use of violence or intimidation, typically involving civilians and political motivations. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) goes further to define international, and domestic forms of terrorism. International terrorism is defined as “ Actions perpetrated by individuals
