(Topic 2) As Employer, One of the main obligations to employees is to provide a safe and healthy workplace and environment which means the employer should ensure the premises, Plants, Materials and the whole environment is safe to Employees which is the responsibility of the safety committee in the work Usually if any employee was the main cause of injury towards other while working on behalf of the employer, At that time the Employer must be with the side of the harmed party and should investigate heavily to find the main reasons with great deal of responsibility and this is called vicarious Liability At that moment , If Injured Party did not got her rights she will have her full rights to complain to the union/Government about her Employer d specially the safety officer and the committee in company In this situation , One of employees had an arm broke in the workplace hence Employer First need to establish few steps together with the investigation of the accident and consequently he needs to punish the faulty person and Compensation represented by giving her paid salary medical leave is offered . Before Starting, the investigation processes, this accident should report to a designated person within the organization and the injured woman should receive her full first aid and medical care to prevent further injuries or damage. Then the Investigations steps should start by : 1) Investigating with the injured Employee regarding the accident by clearing off all the details concerning her presence in that office and what the cleanliness status of the place and whether she has any problem with any employees working in the same office trying to identify the cause. 2) Have a deep look on the logbook of the employees working in the same office around the same accident timing besides checking the LED cameras of the same office to identify the safety status of the place including cleanliness.
3) Call the suspected Employees individually and listen to their witness and start to link between all the gathered information collected from the Injured staff to the videos shown on the camera up to staff testimonials 4) If the employer/safety officer found any intuitional reasons behind this accident arise from any employee so This Employee should be punished with the same degree equivalent to the accident impacts on the employee including both physiologically and psychologically effects in addition to giving this Employee all her compensations such as full paid Monthly salary as she already harmed in the workplace.
