Organizational Behaviour Discussion 3Conflict is a normal part of life in an organization. We should tackle it head on no matter who we are in conflict with. There are advantages to be gained by engaging in conflict.There are situations where tackling a conflict head on is appropriate, it is all depedenent on how to choose to deal with it. Many situations calls for more in depth process that pertains to the person usually being blindsighted and in the state of aggression is due to their perception being blurred int the heat of the moment. Conflicts such as employee disagreement and misunderstandings happen when comments are drawn from what they see. Selecting all the available facts and information, an individual can choose to focus on those that confirm with their prior perception and disregard the ideas that conflicts with their belief. In addition, when our egos are involved, we want to protect ourselves by focusing on the treating the other person's intention and attitude towards
