Synopsis of the case The case in discussion talks about how Narayanan and his team from TAG drove the hiring/recruitment process earlier being followed at HCL from a “silo approach” where there was no clarity between the different recruitment teams and typically no synergy between them to a PEP-C approach also known as Change management initiative which was aimed at standardization of payment and invoicing process throughout the company . This change was implemented through iTAP (Ideapreneurship Talent Acquisition Platform) and increasing the capability of the recruiter community within TAG through the Hunter Premier League gamification ,initiative , all these steps in turn led to the contributor to majority of profits .
Objectives of the case The objective of the case to explain how the different processes implemented by HCL / Narayan and team led to a breakthrough in the hiring activities or the recruitment process followed by HCL . Another objective is to explain is how can the changes in recruitment and hiring can help a company increase its profits , decrease attrition rate and overall build employee company bonding .
