Professor and class,Jane Elliott taught prejudice and discrimination in a concrete way. She decided to experiment, telling the children on the first day that the blue eyed people were better than the brown eyed people. The blue eyed people were given more advantages than the other kids, like longer recess or allowed to get seconds at lunch. The brown eyed people were not allowed to drink out of thewater fountain nor were they allowed to play with the blue eyed kids. On this day, Jane seen these sweet innocent little third graders turn on each other, discriminating one another. One the second day of this experiment, she flipped the classroom, the brown eyed children were now superior. Jane also used a deck of phonics cards and she witness a change in their academic performance. One day one it took the brown eyed children about 5 minutes to get through the deck and one the second day it took about 2 and half minutes. Once her experiment was over, she
