Professor and Class,Ethnocentrism is at work here by all parties involved. Ethnocentrism is the evaluation of others cultures by the standards of one's own cultures, or judging others cultures on your own finding your culture normal and the others abnormal(Reimer, J 2017). This conflict with a little understandingcould have been avoided ahead of time with a little understandingof all parties involved.First, the boss could have done a little research on his prospective customer and looked into the culture of the prospective customer to see what kind of foods the gentleman may have expected for Fine French Dining. The boss should not judge what the prospective client would like to eat based on his own likes and dislikes related to his culture and his beliefs.
