2The objective of this lab is to study vector addition by the experimental method and the component method and to verify the results using the force table. We will then compare the analytical values from the component method to the experimental method found by using the force table find the percent error of the two values. The purpose of this lab is to help physics students explore the different methods that can be used to find the resultant vector. After this lab we will be able to determine whether the method in this lab iseffective in finding the resultant vector. Equipment:1. Force table6. Strings for suspending the masses 2.
