c THERES NO CURVE FOR THIS TEST SO LETS HELP EACH OTHER! PLS ADD TO THIS! IF YOU HAVE NOTES ON THE VIDEOS SHOWN IN LECTURE, GUEST LECTURES AND READINGS, PLEASE ADD THOSE AS highWELL → praise your soul for making this tyty -Stressed out girl No problem, let’s try to ace this exam guys! :) We got this Does anyone know what kind of questions will be asked??Multiple choice and true/false thanks! Does anyone know what the chicken wing study is?? I missed the obesity lecture :( we skipped it during lecture i think It’s basically a study where two groups of people were eating chicken wings, and one group gets their plates cleared (so they don’t see how many wings they ate), and the other group doesn’t get their plates cleared, and they found that the group that got their plates cleared ate way more (shows that we depend more on our environmental cues as opposed to our internal cues for hunger) thanks!! Does anyone know what EDNOS stands for??? Eating disorder not otherwise specified i think THANK YOU!! <3 - What is the difference in AN-R and AN-P? - AN-R Anorexia mainly due to not eating (restricting food intake) (dieting, fasting, excessive exercise used for weight loss. - AN-P anorexia due to purging, so like eating then getting rid of calories by vomiting, etc purging, abuse of laxatives/diuretics used for weight loss. - AN: the disturbance is undue to the influence of their weight/shape (they think they are obese when they are in fact underweight ) → I feel like the way I understood the distinction between these two is that BN is being unduly influenced by shape and weight, not so much a disturbance, and in AN it is a literal disturbance in how you experience weight/shape because you still think you’re “fat” or whatever even though you are underweight. - Excessively is a synonym for unduly, so it directly and excessively influences the disturbance in shape/weight. So their negative self-evaluation (shame/guilt) of their body is a direct result of the binging behavior (that can lead to actual disturbances in their shape weight, i.e. increased weight). AN is

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
