Queries 6, 11, 14, 17 Jefferson is not going to think very highly of cities. -the revolution of 1800 ( the election of Jefferson in 1800) he is going to refer to him being elected as the revolution of 1800 instead of the election. The sedition act is going to target the Jeffersonian men. Moderates vs. old republicans. There is a very sharp conflict b/t the two, and Jefferson and Adams are going to run against each other on the basis of there early political idea. The electoral college of 1800 : Jefferson 73 Adams 65 Burt 73 Pinckney 64 There was a tie b/t the two parties. And this was a problem b/c they were not ready to handle the two parties and the republican ended up tying, and they had to take the two republicans to the house of representatives and voted 36 times to declare a winner. Jefferson was a man of Ideas and Hamilton disagreed with that, but he respected him. Hamilton’s fear was this, the Americans have had a habit of dumping the American
