Schizophrenia Recent census estimations show that the world has totaled 300 billion people and this number is growing each day. There are a large number of people that undergo mental and emotional disorders in their everyday life without ever realizing it. disorder. 1 If schizophrenia alone did not seems frightening enough, the several forms of schizophrenia are traumatizing. “We can all be afraid at times. With schizophrenia what you get is a kind of mental conditioning and I am not sure fear ever goes away in this sense.” 3 The disease is scary from an outsider’s point of view but is completely overwhelming for one who actually suffers from schizophrenia. There are many forms of warning signs that one could possibly be schizophrenic.
