PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Professional Development Plan
Professional development plans usually have certain elements that are taken into account.
Some of those elements include, goals, required skills, competencies, objectives, and the needed
resources to complete the ongoing improvement of the plan as well.
The professional
development plan that is going to be outlined in this paper will include, introductions for each
goals, three goals with narratives, three goals with resources, three goals with timelines,
summaries of the goals, along with a conclusion.
Professional development plans must follow a
standard structured format due to the fact that, they must be easy to read, analyze, and interpret
for future purposes as well (Duke University, n.d.).
Goal 1: Attention to Detail
The major issues to be discussed in this section will include, developing my attention to
details skills.
It will be critical for me to develop this area because, as a leader, I will need to
ensure that I have the proper details never overlooked, have no oversight on my part, and also
continuously and on an ongoing basis, relate those details to the bigger picture of things.
Additionally, it will be crucial for me to enhance, develop, and create new and exciting ways of
building my attention to detail skills, in order to not comprise on my full capabilities.
Goal 1 Narrative
My first goal would be my attention to detail.
In this area I will need to develop in
because, I make the small things in my work matter the most and highlight this feature.
The
thing that I expect to learn in this course to help this strength would be developing and analyzing
ways in order to conduct to research, and to put a focus on the attention to detail on a paper for
example.
The way that the goal relates to my personal values is by my motivation for wanting to
