Matthew FloresDr. LazarewiczPSY 150A1November 7, 2017Personality Tests and My PersonalityAccording to the American Psychological Association, personality is the individual differences between peoples’ characteristics in thinking, feeling, and behaving, and is studied in two parts; the first being understanding individual differences of one’s character, while the other is how these parts form the whole personality of the individual. I took two personality tests, both of which I found on a google search for personality tests. One is called 16 Personalities and the other called the Jung Typology Test based on Carl Jung’s and Isabel Briggs Myers’ personality type theory. The first test I took was the 16 Personalities test. This test asked questions relating to organization, planning, social preference, and self-preference. Such questions include, “It does not take you much time to start getting involved in social activities at your new workplace,” and “You would rather improvise than spend time coming up with a detailed plan.” The options to
