Unformatted text preview: own family heritage. Borges presents to the reader, through Yu Tsun, the idea of time as a network of divergent and convergent paths with no one determined direction. Each decision, made by an individual, is one of infinite forks in the path of time. Once a choice is made, the same person makes a different decision in an alternate dimension of time. Topic significant – I chose this section because at this moment in the story Yu Tsun seems to come to a moment of enlightenment. At this point in the story the reader realizes that Ts’ ui Pen’s final book and final labyrinth are one in the same....
