BSBWOR501 TASK 2 JIYAE CHOI (20180284) Requirement – JOURNAL A.1 : develop professional competence – improve customer relationship with formal network as mentoring with experienced sales managers – learn time management with four steps to be good manager – communicate with co-workers with informal network activities : maintain professional competence – conversate wirh staff with coaching skills – use leadership with new workers – use e-network activities for advertising our products and getting advices : assess my personal knowledge and skills against competency standards – using informal network activities : 80% achievement/ 20% still go better – using formal network activities: 60% achievement /40% still going – using e-network activities :95% achievement / 5% still ongoing Firstly, I need to learn abour formal network activities such as mentoring, coaching or industry associations, skill councils, and chambers of commerce. Also I need formal meetings and conferences and discuss current and future networks include developing strategic alliances, access to resources, contacts, technical assistance, business and funding opportunities. Secondly, learning more informal network activities for supporting and mentoring with co-workers need to learn conversations, social events, meetings and group activities.
A.2 : Meeting (12/07/2018) 1.meet wth co-worker who is my mentor (Rebecca Wu) She is chinese who works together with me around 2 months, she already works same company roughly 6 months. Firstly, how did you learn the office system 'Opera' and 'Word' without any helping? A.(Rebecca) Hello, Jena. I will give you advices from my experineces. Yes. I learned office system such as 'Opera' and 'Word' by myself. I am still practicing this system more properly by using some video form youtube. After work, I spent 2 hours eveyday to figure out my weakness when I am using these system. In e- networking activity, we can find proper video or information easily with siple click. So I can be expert these system in 1 month without helping. Q.(me) That is amazing. Could you let me know the online address which you saw ? And Secondly, we have a lot of co-staff who are from china. So I want to communicate with them ,speaking chinese. How can I learn chinese in listening and speaking at the same time? You know, sometimes, we confront some issue about customer or co-workers but we had hard time with communication.
