1 RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE ON THE CONSUMER DECISION PROCESS FOR WOMEN PURCHASING A BRA Department of Marketing, Monash University Purpose: The purchase of a bra is usually an involved decision which must take into account themyriad of different styles and sizes available in the market, yet little consumer research has been completed on the subject. This project aims to bridge that gap by exploring the experiences consumers have when purchasing a bra. Specifically, facets of involvement, shopping orientation, expectations of service and brand perception are areas of interest, along with participant’s bra size and preference of style. We are looking for women who have recently purchased a bra, and participants will be asked to fill in a questionnaire relating to the topic. About your Participation: Participation is purely voluntary and should the participant wish to withdraw, they are free todo so at any time. No findings which could identify any individual participant will be published. Participants could complete the questionnaires and submit them anonymously in the reply paid envelope provided. The questionnaire will be anonymous with no name and personal information required. The information received will be kept confidential and only the supervisor of the project and research assistant will have access to this data which will be stored for at least five years as prescribed by the university regulations.
