The Hyatt Hotel Analysis 2 The Hyatt Hotels case study Analysis The Hyatt Group is the Ninth largest international hotel chain ( Akhtar A., 2017. pg. 79). The hotels macro environment which includes the political, economic, social-cultural, legal, technological factors, as well as the internal (Micro) factors and the SWOT analysis have been reviewed in this study. These are the factors that may impact the ability of Hyatt Hotel to perform at a maximum and raise their revenue margin. Macro Environment Analysis Political factors are some of the aspects that influence their business with various policies and laws such as VAT policies, tax regulations and deductions, Fire and Safety Act, policies on food and service quality, Health and Safety laws, and the Civil Rights Act ( Arif, T.M.H. and Hossin, M.Z., 2016. pg. 29). These acts and policies are strictly monitored and followed, and therefore, the Hotel management will need to have adequate implementation strategies and approaches. Failure to adhere to these laws, policies, and Acts can lead the Hotel and the organizations into significant issues with various law enforcement agencies. The economic factors play an essential role to keep the Hotel floating in the market. Some of the economic factors include ease of access to loans, stock exchange rates, unemployment and inflation, and government present and future spending. The recent recession in the UK affected the business. Therefore, the Hyatt hotel will need to develop strategies to overcome this. However, the economic achievement of various brands has helped make Hyatt Hotels stronger in the recent years. The fact that Hyatt hotel covers both leisure and business classes helps it to be exceptional in the highly competitive global market and to cultivate its brand name and status among its rivals ( Bouvier, A., and EDITION, F., 2013. pg. 22).
