First and foremost, the Staffing Strategy for the New Plant presents several areas of concern in my opinion, which are closely related to Targeted and Steering practices for certain age groups and classes of people. According to the information provide in Chapter 1, Staffing must look at the process of acquiring, deploying and retaining a workforce of sufficient quantity and quality people (employees) because they will be representing the organization as a whole. The staffing strategy being considered has the potential to create an unethical dilemma and will impact the reputation of the organization. By Targeting to the age group of 25-40 year old, their advertising cost may exceed their authorized budget and it would require a specific market research group to assets fashion trends for age groups that have higher unemployment rate. According to Data USA Chicago has 1.35M employed individual and the population their is 2.7m, and the average age of an employee is 34.4
