I think the most important system in a facility would have to be the energy system, because without proper electricity and/or another type of energy system, a lot of the other systems would not be able to work properly. By implementing different energy systems, the facility can also save money on different aspects such as lighting and the HVAC system. Also, back up generators are associated with the energy system, and the generators can be an emergency life saver whether during a storm or just a freak accident where loss of power is possible.
