Other assessment tasks are activities can be linked to the project with mutual arrangement between the trainer and the students. The trainer will need to keep track of the group’s progress and due completion of the project tasks. Instructions: This project is to be undertaken in a group of three to four participants. The aim of this project is to develop a real-life context and apply theoretical knowledge and concepts learned in this unit in developing practical and workable solution. In this project, the teams will be asked to undertake a joint role-play project that can be completed within the given duration. Examples of some of the projects are;
Designing a Webpage Designing a Newsletter for a fictitious club/association/interest group Planning and conducting a student survey Producing a short documentary film (or still pictures slideshow) The teams will need to develop a workgroup plan and delegate tasks and responsibilities to all the team members. Teams need to ensure that the project is small enough to fit into the schedule. Discuss your project plan with your trainer/assessor before finalising. Project Tasks: Following sequential steps are suggested for completion of the project; Brainstorm the ideas in your team and identify key tasks involved in the project Develop your workgroup goals and objectives Develop a workgroup plan (a template will be provided by your trainer) Prepare a task list and delegate roles and responsibilities to each of the team member Develop KPIs for each of the team member based on their given responsibilities and establish team norms/procedure according to the format suggested by your trainer Develop a “Performance
