HRM RESOURCE-BASED THEORY, AKA THE RESOURCE-BASED VIEW (RBV) Human Resource Management Human resource management is an organizational framework designed to maximize the potential and performance of employees. Every organization has devised its formal systems that seek to address the management of employees in order to create a conducive environment where employees can thrive and work effectively and efficiently. One of the strategies in human resource management is employee engagement which refers to employees' commitment to work and dedication to the organizations’ goals and visions. Employee happiness should not be translated to mean employees are working effectively and efficiently to achieve the organization’s goals. 2

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
