Cultural Intelligence1Cultural self-awareness is important to develop cultural intelligenceCultural self-awareness is a comprehension of a person’s culturally strong-minded identity, inclinations, and rules. As individuals build their cultural self-awareness, they not only comprehend their individuality preferences and rules but also figure out to accommodateother societies’ cultures (Butler, Kwantes & Boglarsky, 2014). Inmy point of view, it is a significant aspect of cultural self-awareness that shows a critical role in the advancement of cultural intelligence. Now that I identify what my religion stands for, I incline to avoid occurrences that may make me uncomfortable and therefore I handle the circumstances as they arise because of the understanding that there are cultural variances in the society.I would like to centre this reflection on my personal opinion about the fact that Cultural self-awareness advances novelty and familiarity.
