(10 marks) An analysis was developed and a percentage was defined for investment in the project. The company produces parts for car engines and has several employees working and some machines. After the analysis, we concluded that if we could automate the pressing industry, we could improve our production system. The aim was to increase the volume of production by 10%. In order to evaluate how long the machine had no production, a survey was carried out considering the mandatory stops for shift shifts, meal stops, staff shortages and other unforeseen events. After analyzing all this information, it was possible to determine that it would be possible to achieve the objective and also to reduce two employees per shift. During the planning of this project, we identified three limits, such as assumptions, scope of work and analytical structure of the project. Assumptions will help the team predict events that must occur and that we can control if we implement measures prior to project development. The scope of the work specified the contract criteria between the service provider and the customer. The analytical structure of the project was responsible for organizing the project into smaller, manageable sections. These limits were identified during the planning and division of the work activities that created a better organization and development of the work. The project can bring several benefits to the plant, in total we can reduce 6 employees and bring a great financial return to the company with the possibility of increasing the production volume by 10%. These results will be calculated after the perpetuation of the project, which will perform a data collection in the first 3 months of production.
