According to Huesch (2012), health care facilities play a critical role in the detection,
diagnosis, treatment, and management of different conditions that may proliferate into long-
lasting diseases that may threaten the survival of individuals and even result in death. Healthcare
facilities are also responsible for providing rehabilitation services to different patients after being
discharged from various hospitals. However, the success of a health care facility in delivering its
core duties lies in the manner in which it manages its allocated resources to ensure that they are
not depleted before the expected time span. As a result, healthcare facilities must put into
consideration the need to put in place a range of systems and processes to ensure that there is
effective resource allocation and distribution to attain sustainable performance existence ( Lavy &
Shohet 2009). This paper evaluates how my health care facility manages resource allocation and
responds to different interrelated questions.
Evaluating How My Health Care Facility Manages Resource Allocation
Wudhikarn (2016) acknowledges effective management of resource allocation as one of
the most critical process that determine the success of healthcare facilities in their struggle to
meet their long-term goals and objectives. As a healthcare service beneficiary, I have visited a
plethora of healthcare organizations which have demonstrated a range of unique strategies in the
struggle to achieve effective management of resource allocation processes. For instance, the
healthcare organization I currently depend on uses multiple cost-effective strategies to ensure
that the available allocated resources are effectively managed in order to increase their
stakeholder satisfaction levels. As identified by Huesch (2012), these critical stakeholders
