The process continues through a Planning Phase, w hich develops the foundation for defining your requirement and business strateg y in the De vel opment Phase. It ends w ith the deliv ery and assessment of the se rv ices provided in the Execution Phase. The service could be provided by a ne w contract you develop, by an ex ist i ng contract w ithin y our agenc y ( or outside y our agenc y), or it could be part of y our agenc y's strategic sourcing efforts . The Services Acquisition Process requires that you keep an open mind about where best to sour ce the requirement .
