What is air:•"the mixture of invisible odorless tasteless gases (such as nitrogen and oxygen) that surrounds the earth" ""Miriam-Webster, 2010""
What is water:•"Water is the transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance that is the main constituent of Earth's streams, lakes, and oceans, and the fluids of most living organisms" ""Wikipedia, 2017""
Historical use:•In ancient times water was used to irrigate crops and for hydration of plants and animals. •Then as now air was necessary for plant and animal life. Without it nothing could survive on Earth.
Present use:•The present population of Earth is having a major impact on our vital water and air resources. •Deforestation is a significant cause of damage to the water cycle. •Trees produce oxygen and are directly related to precipitation. •As trees are removed there is less oxygen production and precipitation from rain.
