A topic chosen by a speaker should not only be interesting to the audience but also to the speaker. In the video, the speaker was talking about how best to choose a topic to deliver a speech on and the factors that a person can consider to achieve that easily (Finding Speech Topics 1’) . Speech Type The speech was that of a special occasion delivered towards university students. There are different speeches like persuasive, informative, and special occasion. Informative speeches are those that communicate information like places, events, processes, or people to make the audience understand them. Special occasion speeches are those that are delivered in association with a specific occasion and can be given to praise and give more information about the topic of choice.
