Slide 1:Title page with your name, class number, project nameand instructor’s nameEverything is connected to each other. Whether or not you see it happening, or if you want to believe it – everything you see andeverything you do has a cause and effect. So, what do I mean by this? Well, in terms of this presentation, I will be discussing therelationships between Business, Government and Society.During this presentation, I will go into more detail of the definitions, objectives, and interrelationships between each of these threeentities as well as discuss how the tariffs that Trump set up is a great example of how businesses are protected by government and Iwill end with the Sriracha controversy that was in the news recently.Slide 2:Explain the concepts business, government, and society.Business, government and society are fundamental in our current economy and across the world. Businesses provide products andservices to society for profits. Government applies policies, rules, and regulations to businesses and society. Society is all of us. Wecreate a network of relationships between business and government and others within society, and within society there are manydifferent ideas, institutions, and material things (Stiner, 2011). Each of these three entities work together to collectively create bettersolutions and help keep the economies in check.Businesses need the support of state, local, and federal government to be able to continue their business activities to provide societywith the goods and services they produce. These goods and services include products such as food, technology, and lumber.Businesses strive to create and sell these products with the highest quality that they can, so they can make profits; this requiressufficient funding and resources such as labor, technology, buildings, and supplies to handle operations. The government can help these businesses with startup costs in the form of grants, low-interest loans, tax credits, workplace training, and help to secure all necessary licenses and permits to be able to do business in the area. Government in turn relies on thebusinesses doing well so that the businesses are able to pay taxes to fund their services such as education, law enforcement, and thefire department. If society does not use these businesses, they do not make as much of a profit as they had originally set out to do, sothey in turn cannot pay the taxes required, or pay less into them, and the government does not have as much money to fund theirgoods and services provided to society.Business definedSo, what do I mean when I say ‘business’? A business is any organization in the world that involves itself in the trade of goods andservices to consumers for profits. Businesses are one of the most dominant institutions in the world.
