Y OUR  B LOG     Academic Writing 1 Spring 2008 As we discussed on the first day of class, one aspect of this course is a blog that you will be keeping  throughout the semester.  This will be your space to write freely, without having to adhere to the  conventions of formal essays, about the themes and topics of the course.  You can use this space to  respond to the texts that we read for class, to share your thoughts and opinions about subject matter that  arises in our discussions, or to introduce and discuss new material that you discover (i.e. on the internet,  in a television show, in a song) which you feel is relevant to our theme of  BODY.    I strongly encourage you to see this blog as your opportunity to truly allow your ideas to simply spill out.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
