Students are expected to gain a thorough understanding of theoretical concepts, analytical tools, and develop the ability to apply them to real-world situations. Course Structure •The course consists of lectures, quantitative problem solving, group activities and case studies. The lectures are drawn not only from the textbook, but also other sources. •It is necessary for you to read the assigned chapters in advance, in order to synthesize concepts from lectures, readings and cases, and participate meaningfully. •You should check the iLearn and SFSU email regularly during the semester for class materials and announcements. •You are strongly encouraged to take notes and bring a calculator to each class.
