The standard of law has to do with rules of behavior imposed on people by governments. I think
the biggest difference here is while it is definitely wrong and unethical for Ziba to “borrow” that
money without permission it is also illegal and considered stealing even if she did plan on putting
it back.

Standard of ethics apply simply that Chula has Alzheimer’s and has hired Ziba to take care of her
and do things for her that she herself cannot do on her own because of her disability. Chula is
expecting Ziba to take good care of her as part of her job. Chula must have found Ziba to have
