In this lab, the force table is used as a tool to determine the resultant force vectors. During the lab the rim of the circular table is calibrated in degrees and with the use of strings flowing over pulleys connected to weight hangers, weights are applied to the central ring. By adding or removing weights, the magnitude of a force vector is affected and by adjusting the pulley, direction of a force is affected. In this lab you learn that by adding a third string and weight, two already existing forces can be balanced and centered around the central pin.
