Team Interview Simulation Review2The learning group for this assignment was given the task to look over three possiblecandidates for a job posting for Maintenance Technician/Janitor job. We will use the interactiveinterview video, Maintenance Technician/Janitor job advertisement, and the MaintenanceTechnician/Janitor job description, along with the three candidate resumes. The follow discussiontook place with our team.Gaby's Opinion Candidate 1- Joe Johnson (second choice) Has worked in this environment for 9 years, he knows what it entails and what is expected. He was head of maintenance overseeing 2 employees, which would be about the same size of a maintenance team at an apartment complex. He is on call 24/hrs a day and knows how demanding that can be.Resume does not show knowledge of HVAC, but it appears he did maintenance on the whole building which is a plus. His certifications may be useful, but on a rare occasion. Candidate 2- (out of the question) I think she has more experience with repairing and making smaller equipment/things. More of an assembly worker and janitor. This experience doesnot match with our job description. Candidate 3 – Jan I. Tor (my choice) Jan seems to have extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment on a commercial level which means he/she understand the importance of working quickly and efficiently.
