The course will primarily focus on security analysis and management of stock portfolios. We will also cover fundamentals of options on stock, stock index futures and fixed-income securities. The course will focus primarily on U.S. markets, although we will touch briefly on international investments. The course will provide students with information and skills needed to succeed in careers in asset management, corporate finance, research, sales or trading. Prerequisites: MSB Students, FINC 211 (Business Financial Management) Course Textbook/Required Reading Text: Investments , 10 th edition, Zvi Bodie, Alex Kane, and Alan Marcus, McGraw-Hill Irwin Publishing (ISBN: 9780077861674).
