Original answer Since the X axis is amount of detergent added, a line through the X axis can indicate the amount of detergent at which micelles begin to form (the CMC). However, since the Y axis is concentration of free detergent, a line through the Y axis can also indicate the amount of detergent at which micelles begin to form (the CMC), so this has been added as an acceptable answer.
