Origin Originated form China and have been cultivated for  more than 1200 years in Japan and more than 1400  years in China.  Product sizes This Herbaceous perennial plant is grown as a cut  flower, potted flowering plant, or garden plant for fall  color.  Cultivars (know the  ones we are growing) Den. ‘Roanoke’, Den. ‘Miramar’, Spider, Anemome,  Daisy, and Button. Propagation Cutting: Plants from stolons in the garden and develop  into a multistem clump. Seed propagation is not used  other than in breeding programs.  Cost/propagule $0.18/rooted cutting = $0.90/6-inch pot Flowering control Flowering is controlled by the naturally shortening day  lengths of late summer and fall with flowering occurring  from early fall to winter. Floral induction can occur at or
