Balanced Scorecard
Any successful organization has a balanced scorecard to aid in determing the
effectiveness of their strategy execution. The balance scorecard gives top managers a fast but
comprehensive view of the organization through four indicators: (1) customer satisfaction, (2)
internal processes, (3) innovation and improvement activities, and (4) financial measures
(Kinicki & Williams, 2016). The absence of an effective balanced scorecard can extend or even
hinder organizaitons success because their measures for success are not defined. The business
loses the the view of the theoretical finish line. In essences, the business does not know what are
they measures they are trying to achieve.
