URINARY INCONTINENCEUrinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine. The control over the sphinctermuscles is either lost or weakened. It is more common to women than men aged between 35to 50. Most people never realize that it’s a problem. The weakened sphincter muscles bringabout poor bladder control hence leakage of urine when performing some activities such assneezing, exercising and coughing.In most cases, it is regarded as an aging problem where it develops as someone is growingold. Incontinence may be caused by a lot of factors; blockage in the urinary system, brain ornerve problems, dementia, nerve and muscle problems and weakness of the pelvic muscles.Most adults experience incontinence, and often it is ever underrecognized and underreported.Many patients never tell the challenge to physicians. It dramatically influences life as itcauses embarrassment, stigmatization, isolation, and depression.There are different types of incontinence; urge incontinence, stress incontinence, overflow
