What is so wrong with abusing anabolic steroids?
Every day, Gym Rats are using
illegal anabolic steroids to enhance their muscle definition and in turn, their appeal to
partner. To these individuals, a ripped, muscle toned body is everything, and to reach
their goal, the end justifies the means, even if the means is illegal. Athletes in almost all
sport, use them to perform on a higher level, giving them an advantage of more than just
their own talent. They rationalize the use of steroids with the standard excuse; everyone
is doing it, and if they don’t, they will fall behind. That excuse doesn’t hold water when
the athlete fails a drug test and their deception is uncovered.
The possession of anabolic
steroids, if not prescribed by a licensed by a physician, is against the law.
These drugs
take toll on the user’s body and mind if they are abused. Anabolic steroids were not
developed for the purpose of creating super-humans; they were intended to help with
specific medical problems.
They are dangerous, addicting substances that should only be
used while under a doctor’s care for very serious medical conditions.
