Question 1The first stereotype noted is on U.S. citizens and their ignorance on “how to tell a Chinese from aJap”. Another stereotype is in the description of the typical northern Chinese. The article makes itsounds like Americans are the enemy for wanting to know the difference between the two. It is also demonstrated in the pictures above as well in the life magazines where it gives info about the difference. Imagery reinforces written info because it gives people images to out in their headas they’re reading. You can see how this might look bad if the pictures aren’tperfect.Question 2It portrays America as being back stabbed by Japan just like the Nazis did in war.
