After dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and ending of World War II
there has been made a drastic change in the international relationships. The Cold War at that time
was mainly between the two dominant powers such as United States and the Russia. This cold
war was based on nuclear arsenal development as well as an ongoing military development,
economic competition and the political conflict between Russia and the United States. This war
was fundamentally characterized by dis-trust and fear between the allies (“Office of the
Historian” n.d.).
The ideologies of the allies remained the same with each side putting criticism after they
defeated Nazi’s under the Hitler. There was a clear fact revealed in the Potsdam conference that
Stalin and President Truman could not reach on an agreement of withdrawing military forces
from Central and the Eastern Europe. Stalin had rejected the suggestion of Truman to conduct
