WHY STUDY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Public administration is a field often associated with the implementation of providing
solutions as well as promoting government policies. Things in this world govern the
implementation and forcing of policies, and this is where the Public Administration steps in. so
when we need to think about the rationale behind creating new, separate disciplines of public
administration and public policy, it is because we need to have that distinct separation between
the administrative side and the managerial side which is what business administration is; the
managerial roles. Business administration, public administration, and political science can often
et confused with one another because they all can be seen to have similar roles in enforcing
public policies. Public administrators have a vital role in our government, and local communities.
Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages just like there is with any other role, but
studying a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) is good when you take an interest in
protecting the public.
